We will not be kept silent.
The voices of those who you try
to deny,
Those you berate, shame and lie
to, will not back down.
We will be heard and you will know our name
as time and again
we take to the streets
to fly our flags.
You may mock, insult. Queer. Fag. Unnatural slag.
But we will not be kept silent.
We exist, and you will know our name for
we
have no shame,
in who we are.
And I have no shame for what I am.
I have no want
to hide,
I will share my pride
for those of us you see
as a stain on your 'normality'.
I laugh in the face of fragility.
May beat us, you kill us
